My 5 year old broke his foot today.
I got a text around 4:30pm today with the news. I was shocked and somewhat panicked at first since I was at work and couldn’t immediately get to him, but fortunately his mother was already taking him to the ER. Apparently he had been playing on some homemade blocks and jumped when nobody was looking. He told his mom it was broken as soon as it had happened.

Google Labs' Swiffy Converts Flash Files to HTML5

Google Labs’ new beta product, named Swiffy, can convert Flash files to an HTML5 compatible format. This will allow non-Flash devices like iPads to be able to display these files once they’re converted. Google cautions us that its an early version, so it won’t convert all Flash files. Looks to be pretty useful though.
