But I’m really not and I don’t know why. Seriously - people that aren’t even going are more excited than me. I kind of feel bad when they ask me “Aren’t you freaking out? It’s almost time to go,” and expect me to be all giddy and super happy about it. Honestly, that is starting to get on my nerves.
I mean, don’t get me wrong - I’m not at all ungrateful for the opportunity to go on a big ass party boat for 7 days. And I’m elated to be able to share it with my special someone, especially since she’s never been on a cruise either and it makes me extremely happy to be able to make it happen for her.
I just DO NOT have the same level or same feeling of excitement people seem to expect me to have when they ask me if I’m looking forward to going.
