List Subpages
Posted by KMFNJ | Filed under WordPress
I found a decent WP plugin today that allows you to list the subpages of a page. I did some tweaking on it (comments section) because i ran into a bug that I couldn't get to work any other way. I hope the developer continues to work on this plugin because it has proven pretty useful so far...k..

WordPress Smilies
Posted by KMFNJ | Filed under Toolbox, Tutorials
This is really really not that important, but... all the same, I guess it is to some. (...and I guess I just proved to myself that I'm one of them.) Basically, I was screwing with WordPress' smiley's functionality and took some of the sweet icons I got from Icon Buffet's Free Delivery Service, picked out which ones I wanted to swap out and renamed them according to what WP would expect. Then I uploaded them into my /wp-includes/images/smilies/ directory. There's not an exact replacement for each one yet, but the results so far ain't too shabby...Viper’s Video Quicktags

Current project is branding package and website for inYou Ministries for my old youth pastor, Scott Wolfe, who lives in South Carolina. I'm developing the site primarily in WordPress along with a few planned flash pieces and possibly some plugins to spruce things up. Development is moving along nicely. I plan the first version of the site ready by this weekend (God willing!). For more information on Scott and what exactly it is that inYou ministries does, head on over to www.inyou.org.The Monday Funny

Dad sent me this - hilarious.
A man in a hot air balloon realized he was lost. He reduced altitude and spotted a woman below. He descended a bit more and shouted, "Excuse me, can you help me ? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."
The woman below replied, "You're in a hot air balloon hovering approximately 30 feet above the ground. You're between 40 and 41 degrees north latitude and between 59 and 60 degrees west longitude."
"You must be in Information Technology," said the balloonist.
"I am," replied the woman, "How did you know?"
"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct, but I've no idea what to make of your information and the fact is I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help at all. If anything, you've delayed my trip." The woman below responded, "You must be in Management."
"I am," replied the balloonist, "but how did you know?"
"Well," said the woman, "you don't know where you are or where you're going. You have risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise, which you've no idea how to keep, and you expect people beneath you to solve your problems. The fact is you are in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but now, somehow, it's my friggin' fault."
“Remember November”

My wife and I have been together for 2 years today. I made a cool photo collage to commemorate the event.
I also took pictures of the picture in a frame (confusing enough?) which I'll post sometime this week. Oh, and I hope to create a tutorial on how to do this soon. Yes, yes, I know, its not a particularly *difficult* thing to accomplish, but some people could really use the help, I think.

Half-Hearted
Posted by KMFNJ | Filed under Journal
A poem from one of my Jounal Entries.I gave my heart to you one day I promised that I wouldn't stray Life went on, I fell into sin I took some of it back again Then you allowed me to drink the wine of those bitter grapes on my selfish vine So I took my whole heart away from You "You won't bother me, and I won't bother You!" In the midst of my sin I cried out again Once more I swore - "My heart is Yours" But only half lay at Your feet The other half in lustful retreat My spirit is broken - a gaping wound to see what this has done to You Against You alone have I sinned I couldn't see this and cannot win So now I say "I'm ready Lord!" to keep this half-heart, I can't afford Let my heart be Yours the rest of my days Let my spirit delight in all Your ways I give my whole heart to You today and I never want it back again
