Golem Photoshop Brush
Posted by KMFNJ | Filed under Border Brushes, Photoshop Brushes
A Golem is an animated being created entirely from inanimate matter... like stones. "Golem" was created using stone textures hence the reference to inanimate objects. This is a border brush and can be used to frame photos or bleed off the edge of documents or... whatever else you can come up with
Rosnado Photoshop Brush
Posted by KMFNJ | Filed under Border Brushes, Photoshop Brushes

"Rosnado" means "Growl" in Portuguese. The name comes from the center's resemblance to a large cat growling. Included in the zip file is an SGVZ vector version for easy scaling.
I know I might be talking to the wall here, but I'm thinking I need to include more in these brush releases -- perhaps corners and vertical borders instead of just the horizontal. Anybody have any thoughts or feedback on this?

Gathier Photoshop Brush
Posted by KMFNJ | Filed under Border Brushes, Photoshop Brushes

Wow, I actually managed 2 releases today! Yay
"Gathier" is a bit different from the last few brushes since its thicker and more chunky. This download also includes an SGVZ vector file - happy scaling!

Chieftan Photoshop Brush
Posted by KMFNJ | Filed under Border Brushes, Photoshop Brushes

I love happy accidents and "Chieftan" definitely qualifies. Keeping with the current wire-based theme of the previous two releases (see Shiek, Tortuga) it was created by flipping a few vectors around and ended up looking like something off of a totem pole.
Alright, so I decided to unclench a little bit and not include my usual watermark on this one. I might go back and re-up the previous two (before I get too far behind) and do the same thing. Then again I might not - either way I'm sure you'll survive.
Also of note, this is the first brush to include a VECTOR file along with it. Its in SGVZ format (because its soooo good at keeping things ultra-tiny) and AFAIK should be compatible with the latest versions of Illustrator or Inkscape (which I haven't tried, but I've heard is a really good FREE vector illustration program)
This should open up the playing field a bit and hopefully make the brush a bit more versatile/useful for anyone wanting to do more with it.
Incidentally, I was going to post the vector file and embed it directly on the page so everyone could see what it looked like, but I can't seem to find a good way of doing this -- anybody got any ideas?
Alrighty, check out the demo below and enjoy.

Tortuga Photoshop Brush
Posted by KMFNJ | Filed under Border Brushes, Photoshop Brushes

Today's brush, "Tortuga", gets its name from the turtle-shell looking pattern in the center. It is also wire-based like the Shiek Brush.
Someone mentioned to me that these brushes can be used for much more than just borders, and that is true of course - GO NUTS. The borders thing is just meant a jumping off point. I'll try to include more demo usage in the next couple sets I release. I'm also considering the idea of releasing a vector (scalable) version of each brush... would anybody be interested in this? What format would you wanna see?
Anyway, check out the demo below and enjoy.

Shiek Photoshop Brush
Posted by KMFNJ | Filed under Border Brushes, Photoshop Brushes
This is my very very first official brush to release for photoshop. I plan on trying to release at least three to five brushes a week... we'll see how well that goes.
Anyway, our first candidate is "Shiek", which is a wire-based decorative brush that can be used to make some really nice borders. Here's a quick demo:
